Person struck by front-end loader on farm in Ottawa County

POLKTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A person suffered serious injuries after a front-end loader ran him over early Friday morning in Ottawa County.

It happened shortly after 7:00 a.m. in a field on Beaver Creek Farms in Polkton Township. Our crew at the scene tells us that workers were loading feed for cattle with the front-end loader, when the person operating the vehicle did not see someone walk in front of it.

The 31-year-old male victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.
