NEW YORK – A terrorist organization has warned they may target three states the day before the Presidential election, CBS news reports.

U.S. intelligence has alerted joint terrorism task forces that al Qaeda could be planning the attacks, sources told CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton.

Though no specific locations are mentioned, the three states targeted are reported to be New York, Texas and Virginia.

U.S. authorities have not confirmed the credibility of these threats but CBS news reports that they are taking the threat seriously, and sources stressed the intelligence is still being assessed.

Counterterrorism officials were alerted to the threats out of an "abundance of caution."

From the CBS news report:

A senior FBI official told CBS News, “The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States.  The FBI, working with our federal, state and local counterparts, shares and assesses intelligence on a daily basis and will continue to work closely with law enforcement and intelligence community partners to identify and disrupt any potential threat to public safety.”

Potential threats always increase during holiday seasons and when big events are approaching, intelligence said.

Increased security was already planned for Election Day, as federal law enforcement plan for “several worst-case scenarios.”

My first amendment allows me to have freedom of speech yet Fox News wants to hinder me from sharing information. They won’t post my postings or they will have the web page keep messing up or say I posted when I did not. Journalism where you go out and get the information and investigate not have it all wrote up and handed to you. So when people have information to share it should not be blocked based on our first amendment. So Fox News stop blocking people’s postings your the news your suppose to report FACTS not BULLSHIT.

You have first amendment rights but the don’t apply to private networks or parties. On the other hand I would imagine that if they are blocking you, which I doubt, it is because you are using language that violates their terms of service. I also doubt seriously that you are a journalist but if you are, hey why don’t you spew you BS on CNN, ABC MSNBC, CBS, or some other site, you are not limited to FOX.

So how did al Qaeda get here? Oh. they walked in through our open boarders posing as “refugees”.
Well, we know who to thank for that!

All seriousness aside, Obama probably called al Qaeda and told them to make some threats about an attack. Then, because the election eve campaigning would be disrupted, he would declare the results of the election null and void and because nobody won, he’ll have to remain in office for four more years. Also, because of his experience as President, he’ll promote himself and from now on he’ll be addressed as his excellency King Obe.
