The American Youth Football League works to provide football and cheerleading camps to kids that can't afford them, now they're hosting the Michigan Youth Football Classic to raise money and give back to the community.

The tournament works to bring youth football teams across the state together and learn about post-season level competition. They also work to help the players build a foundation that will help kids when they move on to play sports at a higher level.

West Michigan American Youth Football says the goal is for the kids to have fun, build relationships, and make new friends and memories to last a lifetime.

The Michigan Youth Football Classic is happening at the Art Van Sports Complex from November 11 through 13.

Tickets cost $5, but kids 10 and under get in for free. All proceeds will go towards West Michigan  American Youth Football and Cheerleader camps.
