1. Polls around the area are already busy for Election Day 2016. Here's some tips on how to make the process go a little easier.

Have your photo ID ready and leave yourself plenty of time to actually let your voice be heard. Also, put your phones away and don't take selfies at the voting booths.

Avoid wearing political shirts or buttons or bringing signs to your polling station. The polls close at 8 p.m.

2. How about being rewarded for your voting efforts? Businesses across West Michigan are giving you freebies if you show them your "I Voted" sticker. Krispey Kreme is giving voters free doughnuts, but only for today.

3. If you're looking for a new job, there are more than 100 positions up for grabs today.

West Michigan Works is hosting a job fair at the Holland Service Center in Ottawa County. Four companies will be there, including Enviro-Clean and Tradesmen International.

All together, there are 130 jobs available including carpenters, laborers, and cooks. Pay ranges from $9-$20 an hour.

The fair goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

4.  Hundreds of fake apps have flooded the Apple Store.

The New York Times reports that the counterfeit apps, most of which come from developers in Chinga, slipped through Apple's process of reviewing each appp before it's published.

The phonies have posed as The Dollar Tree, Foot Locker, and big department stores like Nordstrom.

Experts say that using fake apps can put sensitive information in jeopardy, especially if you provide your credit card info.

5. According to a new study, women should retire their jeans at 53.

The survey was conducted by 2,000 Brits, and they found that jean shopping was stressful for women. 6 percent of shoppers became so upset that they burst into tears.

It also suggested that it takes trying on at least three pairs of jeans before you make a purchase, and one in 10 women try on at least six pairs before committing.

Several fashion experts say people should keep wearing jeans until they personally feel uncomfortable or stylish in them.
