1 caught, 1 not in Wyoming overnight robbery with knife

WYOMING, Mich. — Police say they have one suspect in custody, but continue to search for another after an armed robbery early Saturday morning.

It happened just after 2 a.m. in the area of 36th Street and Raven Street SW in Wyoming.

Two suspects reportedly stole cash and other personal belongings, along with threatening the victim with a knife, according to a press release from Wyoming Police. Police say they set up a perimeter and found one of the suspects with the help of a K-9 unit.

The suspect, who wasn’t identified, was taken to  the Kent County jail. Police describe the other suspect as a tall skinny black male and is believed to be around 20-years-old.

    It’s too bad the Wyoming Police Department didn’t call the Grand Valley State University Police Department and ask for help. Grand Valley State University police shoot first and don’t bother to ask any questions.

    Problem solved. No jail cost, no court cost, no prison cost.
