BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Lakeview School District is closed today after receiving a bomb threat.

Battle Creek Police say they are investigating, but that no devices were found.

Police say that a female student apparently found a note Monday afternoon in a bathroom, but did not report it until Tuesday morning.  Police were called at about 6:30am and the district decided to close all the schools.  The contents of the note have not been released.

Police say they are working to interview the girl and another girl who may be involved.

Police blocked streets around the middle school and several officers and school officials took part in the search.  A Michigan State Police K-9 unit trained to find explosives also searched the school.
