PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three men were arrested Sunday afternoon in connection to an armed robbery.
Ottawa County investigators say around 3:30 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint at a retail complex off Ottawa Beach Road. Afterwards, the victim told police the suspects took off in a maroon Dodge Durango.
Deputies later found that vehicle, finding four suspects as well as the weapons used in the robbery. One of the suspects was a juvenile and was released to his parents. The other three adult suspects were taken into custody; two on armed robbery charges, the other on a probation violation.
Police say the victim met up with the suspects to pay back some money he owed to them, and that he was robbed when they noticed he had additional cash on him.
