GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- More than 70 people gathered at Heartside Park on Tuesday to get an early Thanksgiving meal free of charge.

McClain Bell teamed up with more than a dozen other volunteers to serve up turkey with all of the sides. The group called the effort Operation Feed a Few.

Volunteers bought most of the food for the meal, with the rest coming from donations.
