Muskegon Catholic Central Wins 4th Straight Title

DETROIT — Freshman quarterback Cameron Martinez ran 15 times for 154 yards and a touchdown as Muskegon Catholic Central beat Ottawa Lake Whiteford  21-6 Friday at Ford Field.

Martinez who split time this season at QB with senior Trenten Bordeaux, did not play the first offensive series but did play the next 6 with 4 resulting in touchdowns.

The title is the 4th in a row for the Crusaders and 4th year head coach Steve Czerwon improves to  20-0 in playoff games with 4 State Championships.  The title is also the 12th in school history for MCC tying Detroit St. Martin dePorres for 2nd all-time, Farmington Hills Harrison has 13.
