Driver dies after vehicle strikes tree in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 37-year-old man is dead after police say his vehicle struck a tree Sunday evening.

It happened around 8:15 p.m. off northbound S. Park Street near West Maple Street in Kalamazoo.

Police say the man, Joshua Anderson Locke, appeared to be speeding before his vehicle left the road and struck the tree. Medical personnel attempted to revive the man, but Locke died at the scene.
