GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- As FOX 17 continues its mission to help Michigan children living in foster care get adopted, we introduce you to a pair of brothers hoping to stay together.

Kenyon, 11, and Matthew, 9, are brothers, two peas in a pod, who are truly the best of friends. For the past three years they have been living with a foster family and are still hopeful they will find their forever family.

In the fifth and third grades, they enjoyed their Tuesday afternoon just being kids, jumping on trampolines and playing basketball atSkyzonein Grand Rapids.

Cracking up sitting side-by-side, Kenyon told FOX 17 how Matthew makes him laugh by making funny noises. And as they laughed, it's easy to see they build each other up and lend a helping hand.

Matthew said in school he loves math. When we asked what skills he's best at Matthew said he didn't know until Kenyon whispered "adding," instantly lighting Matthew up with a smile. For Kenyon, he said one of his favorite parts of being a fifth grader is learning science.

Always together, the boys like playing board games like Sorry! or sports like basketball and soccer.

Matthew told FOX 17 Kenyon helps him because "he learns about me."

And when they both think ahead to that happy moment when they are adopted, by one family, this is what they're looking forward to: "playing together," said Matthew, and "having friends over," Kenyon said.

After an exhausting and fun day at Skyzone, they walked out through the doors with their arms wrapped around each other.
