Purple Heart Homes West Michigan helps local disabled veterans

It's Giving Tuesday, and what better way to celebrate than to give back to local charities in the community?

Purple Heart Homes West Michigan's mission is to help local disabled veterans. They do a variety of things from helping them find a place to live, renovations on their home to accommodate with their injuries, and simple tasks like mowing the lawn.

They're always looking for people to get involved and help out with projects for our former men and women in the service. Whether it's being able to assist in building projects, or volunteering at events and fundraisers, they won't turn down anyone willing to help.

Thanks to Forest Hills Financial, we gave Purple Heart Homes West Michigan $250 and access to their suite at Fifth Third Ballpark for a Whitecaps game.
