From Holland Fire Department

HOLLAND, Mich. – One woman was treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Holland Thursday.

The fire broke out about 10:45am in the 400 block of West 31st Street.  Smoke and fire were visible from above the garage doors of the duplex.

Firefighters were able to get the fire extinguished quickly.  The fire department says that residents were at home and were alerted by a neighbor that the smoke detectors  were going off.

No one else was injured.  The cause of the fire is not known, but they say it appears to have been accidental.
