Man rescued from Kent Co. lake

SPENCER TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was rescued from a Spencer Township lake Friday after falling through the ice.

The incident was reported at about 4:18 p.m. at Saugage Lake near the 13000 block of Sand Hill Avenue NE, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department dispatch.   Someone contacted police after seeing the man fall through the ice.

The man was rescued and is reported to be in good condition, officials said.
