Two men arrested following disturbance on Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Two men were arrested following a fight at a business early Sunday morning.

It happened in the parking lot of Boone’s Brew on Plainfield Avenue around 2 a.m.

Grand Rapids police said officers witnessed an altercation between the two men and tried to stop it.

Police say they tried to take one of the suspects into custody but he resisted arrest.

GRPD says another person got involved between the police and the suspects and officers called for emergency back-up.

The two men were eventually arrested and were taken to the Kent County Jail.

No officers were hurt but one suspect was complaining of a minor injury.
