Stop apples from turning brown

Don't you hate it when you cut up an apple, and then five minutes later it starts to turn brown?

Keep them fresh longer with salt!

When the apples are cut up, just sprinkle some salt onto the slices, and dip the apples in some cold water.

The salty taste will be washed away, but the brief exposure to salt keeps them looking fresh for a long period of time.
