DORR TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Police in Allegan County are at the scene of what they are now classifying as a suspicious death investigation on Wednesday morning.
Deputies say they were called to the Dorr Township residence at about 4:00am on a domestic violence incident. The investigation found that there had been an argument between two brothers and a step-father. One of the brothers went into a separate residence in the upstairs of the home and grabbed a rifle. That brother then fired at the step-dad, wounding him, and then turned the gun on himself. He died from the self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators are still on the scene. Names have not been released and investigators say details could change as more evidence is collected.
