GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police in Grand Rapids are searching for two suspects who fled the scene of a shooting that left two women injured.
Shots rang out on Corinne Street SW just west of Division Avenue at 2:04 a.m. Saturday when police say a group of people were gathered on the front porch of a home during a party.
We’re told two male suspects walked up to the house and fired an unknown amount of shots toward the home, striking two women, ages 19 and 22.
Police say both victims were hit in the leg but are expected to be OK.
The preliminary investigation shows that the shooting may have occurred after several people were asked to leave the party earlier in the evening.
The only description of the suspects is that they are Hispanic males.
The shootings remain under investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department.
