HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Holland Township Tuesday.
The crash happened at about 2:00pm on US-31 near 8th Street.
Police say that Tiffany Nichols, 29, of Hesperia, was heading north on US-31 in a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck when she failed to stop at the red light at 8th Street. Her vehicle hit a Volkswagen Rabbit, driven by a 74-year-old Holland man. He was seriously injured. A passenger in the Volkswagen, Joan Haight, 76, of Holland, died in the crash.
A third vehicle was also hit in the crash. That driver was not hurt.
Deputies are still investigating the crash.
