Fire crews battle grass fire along I-69 near Marshall

MICHIGAN — Fire crews worked to put out a grass fire that snagged traffic along I-69 on Saturday.

The call came in at 6:35 p.m. along I-69 at M-227 near Marshall.

MDOT says the left lane is open and they’re hearing of only minor traffic backups in the area.

Offcials say the roadway opened after 8:30 p.m.
