6 injured in Olive Township crash

OLIVE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Six people were injured, one critically, in a three vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Olive Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department dispatch says the crash was reported at 7:08 p.m.at 120th Avenue and Stanton Street.

Authorities at the scene of the crash tell FOX 17 that a westbound truck had a mechanical failure and collided with a car.  The car then hit an SUV.

A passenger in the car was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated.  She was taken to the hospital by Aero Med and is in critical condition, officials said.

Three other people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.  Two others suffered minor injuries and were not hospitalized.
