FENNVILLE, Mich. - Several fire crews responded to a fire at the Pinnacle Foods factory in downtown Fennville.
The fire was reported a little after 4:00 p.m. at the canning facility on 100 Sherman Street. Firefighters say the fire started on the roof of the building and could be seen from a distance.
Firefighters put out the fire fairly quickly, and say the damage was limited to just the exterior of the building.
There were about a dozen people inside but they all got out safely when firefighters arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
