Update: Lowell Police say retail fraud suspect ID’d

LOWELL, Mich. — Lowell Police say a suspect accused of stealing from a local store has been identified.

Police posted surveillance images of the woman on Facebook Wednesday and asked the public for help identifying her.  Police said the woman with a burgundy shirt in the photo allegedly stole cosmetics.

In a follow up post on Facebook, police say the suspect has reached out to police.  Her name was not released.   Police did not say which store she allegedly stole from.

    When will we see a photo of the woman? After failing to detect an individual vaguely resembling a woman in the photo provided, I assume that the photo released is unrelated to the story?
