COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. —  An infant girl in Comstock Township was pronounced dead after medical officials responded to a medical call in the 3300 Block of Comstock Village Lane in Comstock Township Sunday night.

It is unclear what caused the death of 2-month-old Nalani Faye-Lynn Pawlowski, but according to police, her mother Cierra Sprague, 25, was also home at the time of the incident.

Later Monday afternoon, the Kalamazoo Sheriff’s Department say that medical issues may be the cause of Nalani’s death.  The department is still waiting on toxicology reports and more details from the Medical Examiners Office.
