Residents safe after overnight chimney fire

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Residents of a home in Hudsonville are safe after a fire sparked in the chimney and spread to other parts of the house.

Dispatch tells FOX 17 the fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chimney of a home located at 7046 Magnolia Street.

Officials were able to knock down the blaze.

The official cause of this fire hasn’t been released and it is unknown how much damage was caused by the incident.
