Students make ornaments to raise funds for refugees

WYOMING, Mich. - 6th graders at Vanguard Charter Academy are making and selling ornaments to help the refugees fleeing Myanmar.

The students learned about the plight of the people in Myanmar after their teacher invited a young refugee to speak to the class.

After hearing from him, the students wanted to help.
