GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - All this snowfall has made for a busy time for maintenance crews at Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
12-person teams work day and night keeping the runways clean using a massive snow plow.
The teams also go through a tremendous amount of heated sand and deicing liquid to help keep friction on the runways.
