SOLON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Kent County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a baby girl near Cedar Springs.
Investigators were called to the home in the 16000 block of Algoma Avenue NE at about 12 p.m. Thursday. The 10-month-old girl was found unresponsive and officials tell FOX 17 that her death is considered suspicious.
The sheriff's office says the girl's parents are being questioned by authorities but have not been arrested.
An autopsy is scheduled Friday for the girl. Her identity was not released.
