WMU officer passes away unexpectedly, community mourns

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Western Michigan Public Safety Department and the community of Kalamazoo are mourning the unexpected loss of Officer Todd Havener.
It is unknown how Havener died but according to a Facebook post by the WMU Public Safety Department, he passed away at his home.
