PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash Tuesday morning in Plainfield Township.
The crash happened about 10:30 a.m. on Plainfield Avenue at Five Mile Road.
Kent County investigators say that a dump truck driven by a 31-year-old Bailey, Michigan man crossed the center line heading southbound on Plainfield, hitting a pickup truck driven by a 63-year-old man from Comstock Park. The man in the pickup truck was pinned in his vehicle for an extended time and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Deputies say that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
