First List: 60 stores to be closed for Thanksgiving Day

FOX 17 – You have probably noticed the holiday displays creeping into your favorite local stores, but retailers are already planning their employee work schedules for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

BestBlackFriday.com has also already started their research and have found 60 stores that already are planning on being closed on Thanksgiving Day 2018.

The issue of stores being open and making their employees work on the Thanksgiving holiday has generated controversy in recent years. A BestBlackFriday.com press release says this is the earliest that they’ve found 60 stores already confirming they will be closed on Thanksgiving. They expect to list to grow to over 100 stores in coming weeks.
