KALAMAZOO, Mich.– Police need your help finding an armed-robbery suspect.
The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. at the Oasis Hot Tubs, 4600 W. KL Avenue, in Kalamazoo.
Workers told the city’s Department of Public Safety a man armed with a handgun walked in and demanded money. Public Safety officers responded within one minute, but the bandit had already run off with an unknown amount of money, according to a DPS news release.
Officers called in a K9 unit to track the suspect, but were unsuccessful. No one was hurt.
Police say the suspect is 5′ 6″ with a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and jeans. He also had on a bandana that was partially covering his face.
