LANSING, Mich. — The numbers drawn for Saturday night’s estimated $470 million Powerball jackpot are: 16 – 54 – 57 – 62 – 69 and Powerball: 23.
The nearly half-million-dollar kitty may not seem so large, when compared to the Mega Millions jackpot, which swelled to $1.6 billion after no one matched all of the numbers drawn in that lottery on Friday night. The next MegaMillions drawing is Tuesday night.
Lottery officials say the cash option for Saturday night’s multi-state Powerball jackpot was estimated to be about $269 million, before the anticipated rush on tickets before the 10:55 p.m. EDT drawing.
