JENISON, Mich — Police are searching for an armed-robbery suspect in Ottawa County – the fourth holdup in West Michigan in recent weeks.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s department says the latest happened at the Cash Store at 7507 Cottonwood Dr. near Baldwin Street in Jenison.

There was no early indication whether this latest armed robbery might be related to some other recent robberies in Ottawa and Kent counties.

In Friday’s hold-up, police said the suspect came in with a gun and made off with an unknown amount of cash just before 6 p.m.

Deputies said the suspect is about 5 foot 7,  was wearing a blue University of Michigan hoodie and black ski mask. The suspect was driving an old, light-colored SUV.

Police said said no one was injured.
