Native American activist says he forgives boys in videos

WASHINGTON (AP) — Native American activist Nathan Phillips says he’s prayed about what happened at the Lincoln Memorial last week and now he has good feelings in his heart for all the people who have been mean to him.

So even though he’s angry, Phillips told NBC’s “Today” show on Thursday that he has forgiveness for the boys from Kentucky’s Covington Catholic High School who he says could be seen mocking Native Americans in videos.

Phillips says the white boys were angrily chanting at a group of black street preachers, and “it was really getting explosive.” So he said he used his drum to reach God, and felt “spiritually moved into that center, that whirlwind.”

Phillips said the Native Americans couldn’t move because the boys had them surrounded.

He forgives the boy? Um no, this Piece of crap with a violent history needs to apologize for seeking a confrontation with that kid. Guess he forgot he’s the one who walked up to the group and harassed them along with the black Israelites, not the other way around.

  • SoSad

Unbelievable this clown would have the audacity to say he has forgiveness when he purposefully walked up to that high schooler and started pounding that thingy in his face while his partners shouted obscenities at these kids. Wow, just wow!

No one gives a crap about what this maggot thinks, we all saw the un-edited version of the video, and it clearly shows you provoking the confrontation.

Stand by for the go fund me campaign, at the root of these con artist, there is always a money grab.
