GRAND HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man was hospitalized after a crash that pinned him in his vehicle Friday in Ottawa County.
It happened around 3:48 p.m. near the intersection of southbound US-31 and Lake Michigan Drive.
Authorities say a semi-truck was going south on US-31 when the driver failed to stop at a red light, causing it to crash with a minivan going through the intersection.
The minivan’s driver had to be extricated from his vehicle and was taken to an area hospital for injuries that weren’t considered to be life-threatening.
