WEST MICHIGAN -- After strong winds hit West Michigan Sunday, Consumers Energy is bringing in crews from different states to help restore power.
Consumers Energy says about 50,000 customers remain in the dark and will not have power restored until midnight Monday or into Tuesday.
The hardest hit area appears to be Kent County, officials say.
