EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The East Grand Rapids girls basketball team used a 17-1 run that started late in the first quarter to open up a close game on their way to a 72-44 win over Ottawa Hills Monday in the district opener.
The Pioneers (19-2) advance to play Byron Center (15-5) Wednesday night at home.
