No injuries after train crashes into semi in Portage

PORTAGE, Mich. — Nobody was injured after a train struck a semi-truck Thursday in Portage.

The crash happened near the intersection of Shaver Road and Vanderbilt Avenue. Police said the semi was hit while crossing a private driveway.

The northbound lane of Shaver Road will be shifted to the center lane while police investigate the crash.
