They were dispatched around 9:14 p.m. Saturday to the 1300 block of Market Avenue S.W., near the Grand Rapids Water Resource Recovery Facility wastewater-treatment plant.

Market Avenue was closed between the I-196 exit and Godfrey Avenue SW while the vehicle was removed and dive teams searched for any occupants.

GRPD told FOX 17 there were no people in the vehicle, and a forensic team was one the scene.

At this time,  police are still attempting to contact the driver or owner of the vehicle.
