WYOMING, Mich. — Kent County Dispatch Authority says two people were taken to a hospital Tuesday morning, following a rollover crash in Wyoming.
The three-vehicle crash happened around 9:48 a.m. at the intersection of 52nd Street and Burlingame Avenue. The intersection was closed for several hours after the crash, but has since reopened.
The Wyoming Department of Public Safety says a westbound silver minivan on 52nd Street ran the red light, striking a southbound car. The car was knocked into a third vehicle that was stopped for the light on eastbound 52nd Street.
The silver minivan ended up upside-down. Police say the driver of the silver minivan and the car were taken to U of M Metro Health Hospital with serious injuries, but not life-threatening.
