GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Fire Department extinguished a car fire on the side of US-131 at Pearl Street this afternoon. The fire started at the beginning of rush hour but was easily taken care of.
Dispatchers confirm that both lanes are now open and no injuries were reported.
