2 suspects arrested in Montcalm Co. shooting

UPDATE- As of 2:30 a.m. Friday, the suspects have both been arrested and are in the Montcalm County jail awaiting charges. The condition of the victim is unknown.

BELVIDERE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Authorities are searching for two suspects in a shooting Thursday in northern Montcalm County.

The shooting happened around 12:35 p.m. at a home on Bluebird Drive near Townline Lake in Belvidere Township. It is believed to be drug-related.

Upon arrival, troopers found a 61-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital in unknown condition, but was expected to survive.

Michigan State Police have named 35-year-old Andrea Lake and 31-year-old Craig Lake as suspects and are searching for them.

Andrea Lake is described as standing 5-foot-5, weighing 118 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes. Authorities describe Craig Lake as standing 5-foot-10, weighing 230 pounds and having brown hair and blue eyes.

They are believed to be traveling in a tan or gold 1993 Ford F-150 single-cab with a Michigan license plate, No. DVH3989. MSP says Andrea Lake’s 3-year-old child may be with them.
