GRANDVILLE, Mich. — Kent County Dispatch Authority says police were on the scene of an injury accident in Grandville on Saturday night – about five hours after the first one occurred.
Police responded at 3:36 p.m. Saturday to a crash on Rivertown Parkway SW and Potomac Avenue. There was no word on the extent of injuries sustained in that accident on westbound Rivertown Parkway.
Dispatchers say a second crash occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday in that same area, and this second one was still blocking the eastbound lanes as of 9:10 p.m.
There’s no word yet how the crash happened, or who was involved. But Central Dispatch says a couple people were taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
It was the third crash on Rivertown Parkway in two days. Another injury accident occurred Friday night.
