GRAND RAPIDS -- The Grand Rapids Public Schools Board of Education is still hunting for their next superintendent.

After interviewing Dr. Adrian Talley and Dr. Devon Horton on April 8th, the board decided to reconvene Saturday at 8 a.m. to further discuss the search for the school district's next leader, however, a decision was not made during that meeting, either.

"They deserve to have a quality educational experience, and they deserve to have a leader who has been in classroom, who has been an administrator at some point and who has worked their way up to those levels of leadership and that can lead this district up to a higher level of performance. " Dr Jose Flores, Trustee for the Grand Rapids Board of Education  told FOX 17.

School board officials say they will reconvene Monday night to discuss the next steps.
