CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says a man whose vehicle crashed into a tree in Clarendon Township on Saturday has died.
It happened near 20 Mile Road, around 2 a.m.
Police say the 23-year-old man was driving westbound on T Drive S., when his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree. He later pulled from the vehicle by members of the Tekonsha Fire Department and flown to Bronson Hospital by AirCare.
Police say he was a resident of Tekonsha.
The crash is still being investigated, but the Sheriff’s Office says that alcohol and failure to wear a seat belt may’ve been contributing factors.
