Police: Muskegon shooting victim ‘uncooperative’

MUSKEGON, Mich.  — No arrests were made as of late Friday night related to Thursday night's shooting at Dyston Street and E. Larch Avenue.

It happened around 10:20 p.m. Thursday. The location was the 1700 block of Dyson, one block north of Laketon Avenue.

Muskegon Police say a 26-year-old Muskegon man was shot in the upper leg and suffered serious but non-fatal wounds. Investigators also told FOX 17 on Friday night the "victim has been uncooperative with investigators."

Police told FOX 17 at the scene late Thursday night that they were searching for evidence.

Police taped off the intersection while they collected evidence, which included a number of shell casings on the road.
