COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — A 24-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being shot near Coopersville on Monday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. at a residence along 80th Avenue in Ottawa County’s Polkton Township.
Police say the woman was critically injured and was taken to a West Michigan hospital for treatment.
There’s no word yet as to what may have led up to the shooting.
