  • Officers identify body found in Macatawa River in Holland

    HOLLAND, Mich. – Investigators in Holland said they identified a body pulled from the Macatawa River Friday. The man’s body was found in the water near Pine Avenue and River Road, said the Holland Department of Public Safety.   The identity has not been disclosed.     NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. – The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Department says it is investigating a body that was found Wednesday morning in Merrill Township.   • People evacuated from Chicago O’Hare terminal

    CHICAGO – (WGN TV) – A portion of Terminal 1 at O’Hare Airport has been evacuated, the Chicago Department of Aviation confirms. At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday an unattended bag was found on the upper level of Terminal 1. Chicago Fire Department sources tell WGN-TV that a canine sat down on a bag near a terminal door which caused suspicion.  They are calling in a second canine to confirm.     WYOMING, Mich. – Fire crews are responding to reports of a fire in Wyoming. Crews were called out just before 11 a.m. Wednesday to Tontin Lumber, 565 Godfrey SW, that is near Godfrey and Market.     KPS NEWS RELEASE KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The search is underway for the man investigators say started his ex-girlfriend’s bedroom on fire with her inside.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – An artist’s exhibit atop a downtown Grand Rapids building started causing controversy in the days leading up to ArtPrize. The silhouettes of what appear to depict soldiers – some with guns – were placed on top of the UICA building this week.     KENT COUNTY, Mich. – The Kent County Health Department released information Thursday about a man who was sickened with suspected West Nile Virus.
