Anthony is thrilled to be a part of the FOX 17 Weather team. You can see him Tuesday through Saturday on the FOX 17 Morning News. Anthony is very familiar with weather patterns in the Midwest as he grew up in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He went to Detroit Catholic Central High School followed by Michigan State University, where he earned a degree in Education. Anthony went on to Valparaiso University where he achieved his degree in Meteorology.

Anthony started his television career at KTXS (an ABC affiliate) in Abilene, Texas. He worked there as morning meteorologist from mid-June 2013 through July 2015. Anthony experienced significant bouts of severe weather/tornadoes and even a couple major ice storms while working in Abilene.

After his stint in Texas, Anthony found his second job in TV closer to home. In mid-August 2015, he took over as morning meteorologist at WFRV (a CBS affiliate) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He remained in that role until mid-October 2018. Anthony experienced major winter storms, severe weather, and flooding events while working in Green Bay. Anthony has lived in the Midwest virtually his whole life but says he has never seen anything like the blizzard that struck the Green Bay Area in April of 2018 dropping close to two feet of snow. Anthony also got out into the community for live interviews previewing upcoming events in Northeast Wisconsin. From mid-October 2018 to early February 2019, Anthony took a freelance position as morning meteorologist/news anchor in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

When he is not working, Anthony enjoys lifting weights and running. You also might catch him on the golf course or playing basketball. Staying active and in shape is important to him.

  • Storm potential for Wednesday continues, shifts north

WEST MICHIGAN– The thunderstorm threat for this late afternoon / evening appears to have diminished a bit for West Michigan. A low pressure system over northern Minnesota late this morning will continue to track to the east northeast over Lake Superior and then Ontario heading through this evening and overnight. The strongest upper-level energy ( upward forcing ) associated with this system looks to remain to our north this evening thereby directing the most widespread and strongest thunderstorm activity through […]

  • Lots of Sunday sunshine, lower humidity too for West Michigan

WEST MICHIGAN– Great weather is to be expected here on Sunday across West Michigan with lots of sunshine and just passing fair-weather cumulus clouds for most of us. A cooler and drier start to the day has been noted with temperatures beginning in the middle 60s and dew point temperatures ( a measure of the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere ) in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Expect temps on the thermometer this afternoon to reach the […]

  • T-storm chance Saturday, sunny & less humid Sunday

WEST MICHIGAN– Muggy weather continues for one more afternoon across West Michigan before drier air settles in for a few days. First though, we must deal with a few more spotty afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The National Weather Service tweeted around 3:25 p.m. Saturday that “dangerous swim conditions” were developing, with waves building to 3 to 5 feet. Thunderstorms were sweeping through portions of Branch and Calhoun counties around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Earlier, an isolated thunderstorm developed during the mid-morning […]

  • Drier air moves in overnight; chance for a storm late Sunday

WEST MICHIGAN– A temporarily drier atmosphere comes in for this evening and overnight and that coupled with mostly clear skies and light winds will encourage the mercury to drop off a bit more into the lower 60s by daybreak Sunday morning. Tomorrow brings a good amount of sunshine once again followed by a few additional clouds mixing in during the afternoon. Highs will be headed for the middle to upper 80s. Humidity begins to surge again through the afternoon period. The […]

  • Warmer, but t-storms possible late Sunday / Monday

WEST MICHIGAN– Temperatures are already on the rise this morning and are headed for the lower 80s this afternoon. We look for humidity to really start to go up mid-late afternoon into this evening as a warm front approaches from the south. Sky conditions are to be partly sunny for most hours before clouds thicken up late day into this evening as the risk for a shower or thunderstorm goes up. The best chance to see any wet weather will […]

  • Saturday sunshine, few t-storms late in the weekend

WEST MICHIGAN– Sunshine is to be the story for today along with very comfortable temperatures and humidity levels. Expect highs in the upper 70s for most locations across West Michigan. A few spots may hit 80 degrees. A light east breeze at 5-15 mph will provide a nice feel to outdoor conditions. If you are heading out this evening, you can expect temps to drop back through the 70s and into the upper 60s. Mostly clear skies become more partly […]

Get out there and enjoy it! If you are headed out this evening look for light winds, partly cloudy skies, and readings still in the lower half of the 70s. Expect partly sunny conditions for Saturday and readings getting into the upper 70s once […]

  • Another round of widely scattered showers for Father’s Day

WEST MICHIGAN — Father’s Day will likely offer up a few showers under mostly cloudy skies. The clouds and occasional rain shower will once again likely hold numbers down just a bit from normal. Temperatures top out in the upper 60s while might try to push into the lower 70s on Sunday. Monday also maintains a fair amount of clouds though some intervals of sun can poke through from time to time. Because of this we look for numbers to […]

  • Father’s Day weekend will have some showers

WEST MICHIGAN– The Father’s Day Weekend won’t be a complete washout, but won’t be perfect either. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and unseasonably cool with temps in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Average highs are near 80 degrees for the middle of June and the below normal trend looks to continue. As a cold front drops southward through the region during the late morning / afternoon period, a few showers will be possible. A thundershower could pop up […]
